Plan No: XXXXXXX for Seryne Elsheik
Mr. Donovan G. Barkley, President, CEO
1231 Greenoaks Drive
Mississauga, Ont.
L5J 2A1
Dear Mr. Barkley,
We have been enrolled in your company's RESP plan since
October 1st, 1998. Unfortunately, we have come to realize the full
extent of the plan was not presented at the time of signing. We were aware of
enrollment fees, however it was not explained that the fees for the entire
extent of the plan were paid prior to any investing of the principal paid. If
this information was disclosed, we would have invested elsewhere.
Your representative at the time, Mr. Aquino, Edrido, stated
that the deposits made were transferable to another RESP with a different
institution without penalty of monetary loss. However, we have since attempted
to do so, meeting with both Ms. Laura Lynne Coulombe and Mr. Terry Payne. The
amount offered as transferable funds at this time was $520.20 although our
deposits (including government grants) totaled $2885.72.
This is unacceptable and we will pursue this matter in court
if need be. Please consider this written notice suspending the deposits
effective today. If we do not receive a reasonable reply regarding this issue
by June 10th 2000, we will be forced to take legal action.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
